Transmed Supply Chain Lab 04-14-2008

Transmed U.A.E has established its Supply Chain Lab. The Lab is fully dedicated to the supply chain as part of our continuous efforts to address the shopper needs, maintain loyalty, and establish a collaborative platform between Transmed & retailers to resolve discontinuities & disruptions in Supply Chain.

Transmed Supply Chain Lab creates the opportunity to see and understand the structure and interactions of the total supply chain in a visual format. It focuses on removing time and disruptions out of the Supply Chain to improve speed, eliminate delays, inventory, cost and resources.

The Retailer is invited to a process mapping session (one hour in length), Participants include anyone that touches the supply chain: from Transmed Logistics team to the Retailer’s receiving officials. Opportunities are quickly identified, usually require no capital to implement, and are scalable across a retailer’s chain of stores.

In summary the Supply Chain Lab is the place that assembles the best supply chain tools and concepts to help both the retailers and Transmed in creating the best possible shopper driven supply chain.
